VALERY KOROBOV
Valery Korobov was born on 30 April 1956 in Vorkuta, Komi ASSR.
He has gone into higher education. In 1981 he graduated from Syktyvkar State University, the Department of History.
1973: Turner, Vorkuta Cement Factory;
1974-1976: Military Service;
1981: Teacher of History and Social Science, Koslan Secondary School;
1995: Assistant to the Head of the Republic of Komi; Chief of the Secretariat of the Head of Republic of Komi;
1997: Chief of Staff, Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the RF President in the Republic of
Komi;
1998: Deputy Chief of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Komi; Chief of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Komi;
2002: Director, State Cultural Institution “The National Gallery of the Republic of Komi”;
2006: Senior Deputy Minister of Culture and National Policy of the Republic of Komi;
2008: Minister of National Policy of the Republic of Komi.
On 2 February 2011 Valery Korobov was appointed Minister of Culture of the Republic of Komi by the Order of the Head of the Republic of Komi.
He is Honored Worker of the Republic of Komi. He has also been assigned Class 2 Counsellor of State of the Russian Federation by the RF Presidential Decree.
