The Head of Komi Vyacheslav Gaizer congratulated citizens of the region on 89th Anniversary of the Republic of Komi
In his speech at the festive concert dedicated to the memorable date the Head of Komi noted that its 90th Anniversary the Republic would meet with new aims and objectives related to the establishment of new economic branches and development of modern social infrastructure that would contribute to creating adequate living conditions for republican citizens.
“We have withstood the global crisis and it is high time to develop and move forward through implementing our business giants’ investment projects. The project “Step” has been almost implemented by Syktyvkar Pulp and Paper Mill, Gasprom has started the construction of Bovanenkovo-Ukhta gas pipeline, Enisei Ltd has started oil processing activities in Usinsk. The republican economy is developing successfully. At the same time, developing the production capabilities of the Republic of Komi we should not forget about the social sphere and those who have established and go on strengthening this potential”, said Vyacheslav Gaizer. The Head of Komi also expressed his confidence that 90th Anniversary of the Republic of Komi would be celebrated with economic, social and cultural achievements. “We should make it all together”, he said.
