Vyacheslav Gaizer has participated in an interregional scientific and technical conference dedicated to urgent issues of the socio-economic development of North Russia single-industry towns under present-day conditions

“Today the President and Government of Russia have determined solving single-industry town problems as an overriding task and emphasized necessity of carrying out social stability restoration activities as priority measures. The Republic of Komi can’t stand aloof from this, as four republican localities: Vorkuta, Inta, Emva and Zheshart have been included in the All-Russian list of single-industry towns”, stated the Head of Komi.

He also said that when generating the modernization programs, the special priority would be given to directions of these single-industry towns’ further development including viable management and investment decisions concerning, first of all, attraction of investments, establishment of new manufactures and SMEs development, and not only in trade and service sectors but in the real sector of economy as well.
